TA Pedro holds fundraising Round Up for truckers’ relief fund

TravelCenters of America Inc. is a franchise with stopping centers and a travel center network. They are supporting a Round Up campaign that will benefit the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund. What “Round Up” means is that from July 1 until September 1, “guests at participating TA, Petro and TA Express locations will have the opportunity to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, with the difference being donated directly to SCF to help support truck drivers in need of assistance due to injury or illness that has taken them off the road within the last year”.

The CEO of TA is a big advocate for providing support to the hard-working truck drivers that can’t be on the road. As reported by Trucker News, TA has been doing campaigns and supporting “SCF since 2012, raising more than $3 million through campaigns and initiatives, including the Round Up campaign, which is now in its third year”. The Round Up program specifically benefits drivers that cannot drive due to medical reasons.
