Women in Trucking

According to their website, the Women in Trucking Association is a non-profit organization with the mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the industry.

On Friday, March 25, 2022 at 4pm, Women in Trucking will host the 11th Salute to Women Behind the Wheel at MATS in Louisville, Kentucky.

Below are the 2022 Driver of the Year finalists:

  • Peggy Arnold: Peggy has been a company driver at Yellow Corporation for nearly 30 years.
  • Francis Hernandez:  Francis has been a professional driver with Waste Management, Inc. for 25 years without a single accident.
  • Courtney Ohlandt: Courtney has been a professional driver with FedEx Freight for 25 years & pulls 28-foot triple trailers for FedEx Freight.

The winner will be announced on March 25, 2022 at the Salute to Women Behind the Wheel MATS Event.
