American Safety Expands Charter Bus Fleet with Acquisition of New Orleans Tours Ahead of Super Bowl LIX

American Safety LLC expands its charter bus fleet with the acquisition of New Orleans Tours, boosting its capacity to serve Super Bowl LIX transportation needs and beyond. With 200+ vehicles, American Safety strengthens its Gulf Coast operations, continuing its legacy of reliable service.

American Safety LLC, based in Louisiana, has officially acquired New Orleans Tours, a move that expands its charter bus fleet just in time for the transportation demands of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans next month.

With the addition of New Orleans Tours’ 18 shuttles and buses, American Safety now boasts a fleet of over 200 vehicles. These will be used to serve a variety of clients, including large groups, convention guests, sports teams, and fans flocking to the Super Bowl.

Innovating Transportation Across the Gulf Coast

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in New Orleans, American Safety has quickly solidified its presence, operating across Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas, with plans to continue its expansion throughout the Gulf Coast. A proud minority-owned business, it offers a range of services—including transportation, industrial support, environmental solutions, and disaster relief assistance.

“American Safety is known for providing solutions to our business partners, whatever their needs are,” said Corey Rosales, President and CEO of American Safety. “Whether transporting workers to job sites, convention attendees to events, or sports teams and fans to games, we are committed to delivering reliable and quality transportation services.”

New Orleans Tours’ Legacy Lives On

Established in 1973 by Warren Reuther, New Orleans Tours has been a staple of the city’s tourism and transportation scene. With a fleet that covers an annual average of 350,000 miles and transports tens of thousands of passengers yearly, the company has played a key role in New Orleans’ robust tourism industry.

Though its former parent company, Hospitality Enterprises, will continue to manage other holdings—including New Orleans Paddlewheels, Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours, and City Sightseeing Tours—Craig Smith, President of Hospitality Enterprises, shared their confidence in the timing of this sale.

“We are excited to extend the legacy of this company and its role in New Orleans tourism,” said Smith. “We thank our employees, clients, and customers who have been integral to its history and impact on the city.”

Meeting Super Bowl Transportation Needs

New Orleans is gearing up for Super Bowl LIX, which is expected to bring in over 125,000 visitors and generate an economic impact of at least $500 million. American Safety, an NFL-approved vendor through the Super Bowl LIX Source Program, is capitalizing on its newly expanded fleet and logistics expertise to meet the surging transportation needs during this high-profile event.

“We look forward to maintaining the quality and continuity New Orleans Tours has provided for over 50 years,” said Rosales. “By integrating our logistics knowledge and technology, we aim to enhance the customer experience while continuing to grow our fleet and workforce across the Gulf Coast.”

Supporting Employees and Customers

American Safety has assured that no changes will be made to the current employees or existing client relationships of New Orleans Tours. For those looking for more information about American Safety and its services, visit www.nolabus.com.
