NLA Highlights Insurance Survey and Celebrates Scholarship Recipients: Industry Collaboration to Address Insurance Challenges

The National Limousine Association (NLA) has partnered with the University Transportation Research Center (UTRC) at the City University of New York to create an in-depth report on the state of commercial auto insurance across the United States. This report also aims to identify strategies to make insurance more cost-effective for industry professionals.

To support this initiative, the NLA recently shared a survey that seeks to gather essential data from chauffeured transportation operators. The feedback collected through this survey will help shed light on the current insurance environment and identify critical pain points within the industry. By participating, operators can influence future policies and programs that could benefit the sector.

“I encourage all of you to take a few minutes to complete this very important survey,” says NLA President Brett Barenholtz of Above All/Maine Limousine. “The NLA is taking the lead on gathering industry data that we hope will directly impact the insurance landscape and possibly ease the burden of the rising premiums we all feel every day.”

Recognizing Dedication at the 2025 Day on the Hill

The NLA is also thrilled to announce the winners of its 2025 Day on the Hill scholarships. This prestigious event, taking place on April 28-29 in Washington, D.C., recognizes operators who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the industry and a strong commitment to advocacy.
