Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc. and a leading provider of motorcoach solutions in North America, has announced the opening of its state-of-the-art service center in Torrance, California. This expansion enhances MCI’s ability to meet customers’ needs within one of the busiest transportation hubs in the country.
On May 1, MCI celebrated the launch of its 35,000-square-foot facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house, marking another step in the company’s commitment to delivering superior service.
Enhanced Support for Southern California Customers
“This new location expands our reach and enhances support for customers in one of the nation’s most active transportation corridors,” said Michael Donner, Director of MCI Service Centers. “With advanced capabilities and a strong local team, we’re delivering the expert service our customers rely on.”
The Torrance service center supports MCI’s mission of elevating customer satisfaction and is managed by Service Manager Tony Molina. The facility boasts cutting-edge technology and features 12 service bays, a high-voltage repair station with 60kW charging infrastructure, OEM diagnostic tools, and factory-trained technicians.
Beyond repairs, the facility offers body and paint services, refurbishment, fire restoration, and general maintenance. Drivers can also enjoy an enhanced customer experience, with access to a dedicated lounge equipped with Wi-Fi, refreshments, and comfortable seating.
Convenient Hours and Broad Accessibility
Operating Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time, the Torrance center serves vehicles from all NFI Group brands, including MCI, New Flyer, ARBOC, and Alexander Dennis. Customers can book service appointments by calling 909-240-7211.
Part of a Growing Service Network
The Torrance location joins MCI’s North American network of seven full-service facilities, all providing diagnostics, estimates, and a six-month warranty on parts and labor. Customers also gain access to 24/7 roadside assistance and NFI Parts, the largest parts supplier for buses and motorcoaches in North America.
With this modernized facility, MCI reinforces its dedication to supporting transportation operators with reliable service, expert solutions, and the resources necessary to keep fleets on the road longer.
