Master’s Transportation, a prominent name in commercial bus and van sales, is making a significant investment in Kansas City, bringing 250 new jobs to the area by year’s end.
The company is centralizing its operations by merging five separate locations into a state-of-the-art headquarters at 14655 Prospect Ave. The new facility boasts a 252,000-square-foot production area, 36,000 square feet of premium office space, and nearly 1 million square feet dedicated to bus parking. Currently, 130 employees from Missouri and Kansas are transitioning to the new site, with active recruitment underway to fill additional roles by the close of 2025.
Master’s Transportation is hiring across a variety of positions, including mechanical engineers, production supervisors, automotive technicians, quality control specialists, and maintenance staff. Office roles in sales, purchasing, and business development are also available.

Kansas City’s unemployment rate saw a slight uptick in May, rising from 3.6% to 3.8% compared to the same period last year. Master’s Transportation aims to positively impact these figures by creating meaningful employment opportunities.
