ABC Introduces FleetForward to Help Bus Operators Streamline Maintenance

ABC Companies has rolled out a new program designed to make maintenance easier and more efficient for bus fleet operators. Launched on July 22, the program—named ABC FleetForward—aims to reduce vehicle downtime, simplify maintenance processes, and help fleets better control operating expenses.

At the helm of this initiative is Gage Kelly, who recently stepped into the role of national service sales manager. Kelly highlights that FleetForward is built around ABC’s commitment to putting customers first while addressing persistent issues in the transit industry, like escalating maintenance costs and the complexity of managing multiple service providers.

“ABC FleetForward is designed to simplify fleet maintenance through a turnkey solution that keeps vehicles on the road and allows operators to focus on what matters most—delivering reliable service to their passengers,” Kelly explained.

FleetForward adapts to the unique needs of each fleet by offering customizable plans based on fleet size, types of vehicles, and operational goals. The program covers a range of services, including mobile repair support, routine vehicle inspections, mid-life overhauls, and refurbishments—all consolidated into one comprehensive offering. Other benefits include dedicated account managers, transparent pricing structures, and detailed performance reports to assist fleet managers in planning and budget management.

The process starts with an initial discovery call, leading to a thorough fleet assessment that identifies maintenance needs and desired outcomes. Afterward, ABC provides a data-backed report along with a maintenance plan tailored specifically to the fleet, and there’s no upfront commitment required.

Kelly adds, “Fleet managers should not have to act as mechanics, schedulers, and vendor coordinators all at once. This is a consultative, partner-based approach. We work side by side with our customers to design a program that fits their operation.”

Drew Siciliano, senior vice president of sales and marketing at ABC, emphasized how the new offering reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to improving fleet uptime and simplifying maintenance management.

“ABC FleetForward reflects our continued investment in services that support uptime, streamline maintenance, and bring predictability to fleet operations,” Siciliano said. “It’s a natural extension of how we work: collaboratively and consultatively, with the customer’s success always in mind.”
