Chauffeur Driven (CD) has announced a strategic partnership with Driving Transactions, a consulting firm specializing in the passenger transportation sector, to provide a deeper look into the state of the chauffeured transportation industry. This collaboration aims to deliver real-time data, highlight emerging challenges, and help operators benchmark their performance against broader industry patterns.
Quarterly Industry Trend Survey
As part of this initiative, CD and Driving Transactions will launch a quarterly survey inviting operators nationwide to share insights through a brief, three-minute questionnaire. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will remain anonymous. The data collected will be carefully analyzed by the Driving Transactions research team, with findings published by both organizations to support industry decision-making.

The survey was created to address a longstanding gap in industry analytics. Unlike sectors such as hotels, airlines, and rental cars, chauffeured transportation has historically lacked comprehensive, real-time reporting. Access to this kind of data helps operators make informed decisions, whether selecting new fleet vehicles or evaluating the right time to buy or sell a business.
“Operators regularly ask us for financial metrics, KPI averages, and what we are observing in industry trends, and this data collection alliance provides a much larger pool of respondents for us to collect, compile, analyze, and report on critical trends that owners should know as they make critical business decisions,” says Driving Transactions Principal Analyst Ken Lucci.

To encourage industry participation, CD is offering a raffle prize: one free full show pass to the 2026 CD/NLA Show in Las Vegas, taking place March 1-3. Participants can optionally provide their name and email when completing the survey. As emphasized, the survey responses will remain anonymous and will be used solely for statistical analysis. The more operators who participate, the more accurate and useful the insights will be for the entire industry.
