Motorcoach operators and professional drivers attending the American Bus Association Marketplace this January will see a refreshed lineup from ABC Companies, including updated Van Hool models and a new interactive booth experience.
The ABA Marketplace takes place January 10 through 13 in Reno, Nevada, and marks a significant year for the association as it celebrates its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1926, the American Bus Association is one of the longest-running organizations dedicated to the bus and motorcoach industry, and the Marketplace continues its tradition of rotating host cities, with Reno serving as the 2026 location.
ABC Companies, the exclusive distributor of Van Hool motorcoaches in North America, will use the event to showcase its latest vehicles along with its nationwide parts and service support network. The dealer represents both new and pre-owned coaches and supports operators across the country.
A Closer Look at the 2026 Van Hool CX45
One of the primary vehicles on display will be the 2026 Van Hool CX45, a 45-foot motorcoach that can seat up to 56 passengers. ABC says the updated model focuses on driver comfort, safety technology, and tools that support fleet efficiency.
Updates highlighted at the show include a 360-degree camera system to improve visibility, a tire pressure monitoring system for real-time safety awareness, and tail swing detection designed to help reduce collision risks. Driver comfort is addressed through the Be-Ge ergonomic driver seat, built for long duty days, while LHP telematics provides fleet managers with data to support maintenance planning and operational visibility.
Interactive Booth Experience Planned for Attendees
ABC’s booth, number 31, will be set up as a virtual showroom, allowing attendees to explore vehicle features, technology, and service offerings in a hands-on environment. The company says the goal is to give operators and drivers a clearer understanding of how these updates translate to day-to-day operations.
In keeping with Reno’s retro reputation and the ABA centennial celebration, ABC is also adding a themed experience at its booth. Visitors will be able to meet with company representatives, take photos, and enjoy specialty drinks created for the event, including the Centennial Sour and Dirty Shirley.
Celebrating a Milestone Year for the Industry
ABC CEO Roman Cornell, who also serves on the ABA Board of Directors, said the Marketplace continues to play a key role in bringing the industry together.
“ABA Marketplace is where our industry connects, collaborates, and recharges for the year ahead,” Cornell said. “We’re honored to celebrate ABA’s 100-year milestone and share the innovations that continue to move our customers and our industry forward.”
The ABA Marketplace remains a central meeting point for operators, drivers, manufacturers, and service providers to exchange ideas, evaluate equipment, and prepare for the year ahead.
