For chauffeur drivers and transportation professionals attending the CD NLA Show in Las Vegas for the first time, navigating a large industry event can feel overwhelming. To help new attendees get oriented, the 2026 CD NLA Show will again offer a First Timers’ Event designed to introduce participants to the structure of the show and connect them with peers and experienced industry members.
The CD NLA Show returns to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas from March 1 through March 3. The First Timers’ Event will take place on Sunday, March 1, ahead of the full conference schedule.
What the First Timers’ Event Covers
The session begins with a short orientation intended to help first-time attendees understand how the show is organized and how to approach the three-day schedule. Participants will meet industry professionals who can offer guidance on which sessions may be most relevant, how to approach networking opportunities, and how to navigate the event overall.
Following the orientation, attendees will take part in a roundtable format discussion. This portion of the event is structured to encourage conversation among first-time participants while allowing direct access to more than 25 Show Ambassadors. These ambassadors are experienced industry professionals who answer questions related to operations, compliance, affiliate relationships, and general participation in the show.
Attendees will rotate among tables during the session, allowing them to meet multiple ambassadors and connect with other first-time participants from different companies and regions. The format is intended to help attendees leave the orientation with familiar faces and a clearer understanding of how to engage throughout the rest of the event.
Feedback From Previous First-Time Attendees
Past participants have shared how the First Timers’ Event helped them approach the show with more confidence and direction.
“This was my first show after being in the industry for almost 26 years. This has been a missing piece to my growth. I look forward to the opportunity to grow my affiliate relationships and, in turn, grow my company. I learned a lot, made so many connections, and grew many relationships I already had. It has only been days since returning home, and I have already been able to assist affiliates I met while in Vegas,” says Shanna Davidson of Jet Limousines and Transportation.
Others noted the value of gaining practical insight early in the event.
“As a first-time attendee, I learned a lot of do’s and don’ts. I have a better understanding of how to maintain compliance, manage operations and systems, and connect with affiliates,” says Brian Esteves of For Sure Chauffeur.
For newer companies, the event can also help set expectations about industry culture and collaboration.
“My company is new to the industry, and this was our first time attending a CD/NLA event. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and professionalism of everyone at the show. Although we are considered competitors, everyone I interacted with was helpful and willing to answer all my questions. Thanks again for a great experience!” says Adam Clark of Granbury Executive Transportation.
