Strong Registration Pushes Hotel Availability Tight for 2026 UMA Motorcoach EXPO

Hotel availability in Birmingham is tightening as interest grows for the 2026 UMA Motorcoach EXPO. Organizers report strong registration, sold-out host hotels, and limited remaining room options as the event approaches.

Interest in the 2026 UMA Motorcoach EXPO continues to build, and that momentum is already affecting lodging availability in Birmingham, Alabama, ahead of the event.

Organizers say hotel rooms near the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, where the expo will be held, are filling quickly as attendees finalize travel plans.

Connected hotels sell out first

The Sheraton Birmingham and the Westin Birmingham, both directly connected to the convention complex, were the first properties to reach capacity. As demand increased, additional room blocks were opened at three nearby hotels to accommodate attendees.

Two of those added properties have since filled as well, leaving The Kelly Birmingham, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, as the primary remaining hotel option with availability.

Organizers note that rooms may occasionally reopen at sold-out properties as reservations change, and attendees are encouraged to continue checking their preferred hotels.

Transportation between hotels and the expo

Shuttle service will be provided between participating hotels and the convention center to support attendees staying off-site. This option is intended to help manage access as lodging spreads farther from the event venue.

Strong response from across the industry

UMA officials say early registration numbers reflect continued interest from motorcoach professionals nationwide.

Event organizers have also asked attendees who have reserved rooms they no longer plan to use to release them so accommodations can be reassigned to others still seeking lodging.
