Bus and motorcoach drivers are seeing a major shift in how charter trips are booked and managed, following a new nationwide partnership between Busie and Transcor Data Services. The collaboration brings a direct, technology-driven charter booking system to Bustickets.com, aiming to give operators and drivers more control over pricing, trip management, and customer relationships.
The partnership integrates Busie’s all-in-one charter sales, operations, and dispatch platform directly into Bustickets.com, which is owned and operated by Transcor Data Services. The goal is to modernize charter bookings by eliminating fragmented workflows and reducing the role of third-party brokers that often sit between operators and customers.
What the New Platform Means for Drivers and Operators
Under the new system, charter bus companies receive trip requests directly through Bustickets.com. Operators can manage quotes, bookings, dispatch, and payments inside Busie’s platform while maintaining control over branding, pricing, and customer communication.
“Busie and TDS are partnering to essentially enable Bustickets.com to connect charter bus operators and potential charter bus customers directly, building on the strong foundation that Bustickets.com has today,” said Louis Bookoff, co-founder and CEO of Busie. “Historically, there are a lot of brokers inserting themselves between charter bus companies and end customers. This flips that model on its head.”
For drivers, this approach can mean clearer trip details, fewer handoffs, and better alignment between dispatch and customer expectations.
“This enables charter bus companies to receive prospective clients directly, move them through an entire booking process, control their brand, pricing, and every aspect of the experience — and ultimately retain that customer downstream,” Bookoff said.
Addressing Longstanding Charter Industry Challenges
The charter bus sector has traditionally relied on manual processes, disconnected booking tools, and email-based requests. By pairing Bustickets.com’s group travel demand with Busie’s digital sales and operations platform, the partnership aims to streamline how trips are sourced and executed.
“Our shared goal is to make charter bus bookings work better for customers, operators, and partners,” Bookoff said. “By combining real demand with modern sales and operational software, we are improving how charter trips are sourced and executed across North America. This partnership does not introduce a broker or middleman.”
Operators participating in the platform do not pay monthly subscription fees. Instead, booking fees apply only when trips are successfully secured, and companies may choose whether to pass those costs along to customers.
“It’s an easy way for operators to engage, receive demand, and directly connect with customers,” Bookoff said.
Bustickets.com Expands Its Role in Charter Travel
Transcor Data Services brings decades of experience in scheduled and line-run ticketing technology to the partnership, expanding Bustickets.com beyond its traditional role in intercity travel.
“They are the infrastructure and technology behind connectivity for travelers across the country,” Bookoff said.
Terry Cordell, CEO of Transcor Data Services, said the collaboration strengthens Bustickets.com while keeping operators front and center.
“Bustickets.com has always focused on connecting travelers with dependable transportation,” Cordell said. “Partnering with Busie allows us to modernize the underlying charter experience while staying aligned with the needs of charter bus operators.”
Busie will power the entire charter booking side of Bustickets.com, replacing static request forms with a fully digital system that allows operators to dispatch and manage trips directly once bookings are confirmed.
“We’re creating a single pane of glass for operators — from booking through dispatch,” Bookoff said. “We’re enabling those requests to go to the most relevant operator in the ecosystem and creating a direct relationship between customer and operator.”
Open Access for Operators Across North America
The platform is open to charter bus operators throughout the United States and Canada, with additional expansion expected in 2026. Participation is not exclusive.
“It’s not exclusive — any operator can be a part of it and receive more demand while controlling the experience customer interactions directly,” Bookoff said.
As group travel continues to grow in education, sports, corporate travel, and large events, the companies say this model offers an operator-first approach designed to support long-term sustainability.
“We’re reducing intermediaries between the end customer and the operator,” Bookoff said. “This provides a new demand source for charter bus companies across North America, and we’re excited to help companies drive revenue and streamline the right-intent charter operations.”
