A longtime Hamilton County school bus driver has been recognized for a career marked by safety, reliability, and service to students.

Jerry Green was recently inducted into the Tennessee School Bus Driver Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Pigeon Forge hosted by the Tennessee Association for Pupil Transportation.

Green spent 50 years behind the wheel transporting students and became one of the most recognized drivers in Hamilton County during his career.

Five Decades of Service

Known to many as “Mr. Fuzzy,” Green owned and operated school buses in Hamilton County until his retirement last year.
